Bidders: Doing Business With Us

ROKn Auctions holds online auctions to sell school or government agency items that have been declared surplus or salvage.  We must follow specific rules to comply with state and local regulations.  Therefore, we have procedures which may be different from your usual auction experience.  We ask your understanding and cooperation.  The items we sell usually are a fantastic bargain, so we ask that you help us complete your transactions smoothly and in the appropriate manner.

First, we can’t end an auction early. If you really want that item, put in your best price early, then eBay will auto-bid for you up to that amount.  Watch your eBay notices and the bidding action at the end.

Part of our duty is to minimize the impact of the auction on the client’s (seller’s) normal operations.  Therefore, we work on an appointment basis.  We can’t always offer inspections, but we usually do, and if you want to inspect the item before bidding, it can only be done at the specified appointment time, as stated in the listing.

The same is true of pickups – we coordinate pickups at a time and date specified in the listing, usually with 2 dates to choose from.  If you cannot make either date, contact us before bidding to see if we can accommodate a different appointment time.

All items must be paid in full before they are picked up.  No exceptions.

All sales are final.  If there is a problem with the item that you spot at pickup, such as an item is not as described, we must resolve that issue right then.  If you pick up your item and leave the premises with it, it is yours and cannot be returned.

We look forward to doing business with you! If you have any questions or comments please email us at [email protected].
